1. Introduction

Welcome to ExamApp. This is a Bengali-language MCQ exam and practice app built for HSC and admission test candidates. We value your privacy. This policy explains, in simple language, what information is used in the app and why. By using the app, you are considered to have agreed to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

The following information is used to keep the app running smoothly:

  • Account Information: If you sign in with Google, your name, email address and profile picture. If you use Guest Mode, this information is not required, but you will not be able to enjoy all features.
  • Role: Whether you are a student or a teacher, and whether you are associated with a coaching center or using the app independently.
  • Exam Information: Your answers, results, merit list and leaderboard position.
  • Points and Referrals: The points you earn, your referral code, and who referred whom.
  • Device Information: A device identifier (Android ID) used to prevent the same person from creating repeated fake accounts, and a device token used to send notifications.
  • App Usage Information: Technical information about how the app is used and, in case of a problem (crash), details about it.
  • Advertising Information: Your device's Advertising ID, used to show ads (see Section 5 for details).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To sign you in and keep your account active
  • To conduct exams, generate results and show merit lists
  • To run the points and referral system and prevent misuse
  • To send necessary notifications
  • To find and fix errors and to improve the app
  • To show limited advertisements so the app can stay free

4. Sharing Information with Coaching Centers

If you take part in a coaching center's exam, the owner or teacher of that coaching center can see your exam results, merit list position and your name. Your other personal information, or whether you have taken exams at any other coaching center, is not shown to them.

5. Advertising

To keep the app free, we show ads from Google AdMob.

  • Small banner ads appear on the practice exam and review screens. On the home screen, there is an optional way to support the app by watching an ad. How long we can keep the app free depends on your support through watching ads.
  • No ads are shown during live exams.
  • To show ads, AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID and some technical information. As a result, ads that match your interests may be shown to you.
  • If you wish, you can turn off ad personalization or reset your Advertising ID from your phone's Settings → Google → Ads. The menu names may differ slightly depending on your phone model.

6. Third-Party Services

To run the app, keep it secure and make it better, we use some trusted Google services. These include sign-in, notifications, analysis of app usage and errors, and advertising (Google AdMob).

To keep your information safe, we use modern security measures and necessary access controls. However, no method of sending or storing information over the internet can be 100% secure. From our side, we store your information with the utmost care.
